ピアノのメロディやハーモニーを通じて風景や感情を表現するスタイルで、まさに「ピアノを使った音の風景」というコンセプトと言える。シンプルでありながら、感情的な深みを持つメロディやハーモニーが特徴的。

ミリオンタイトルである国民的ゴルフゲーム『みんなのGOLF』シリーズ（ソニーコンピュータエンタテインメント）、子供番組『いないいないばぁっ！』(NHK)など、テレビ番組、ゲーム、CM、アーティストへの楽曲提供など、幅広い音楽活動を行う。

ピアノの持つ音の温かみや透明感を活かし、響きの美しいピアノ作品の作曲を行っている。自然や風景をピアノで描写することを特徴としており、その音楽の中で、ありのままの美しさや風景の情景を繊細に表現している。そのスタイルは「ピアノスケープス 」 と呼ばれる事もある。
・教育分野
専修学校、高等専修学校等にて、作曲だけでなく、音楽音響演出の指導も行う。さらに、小さな子どもたちにも演奏の楽しみを感じてもらいたいという思いから、楽譜が読めなくても弾ける、簡単で楽しいピアノ連弾を発表しており、現在では様々な場で使用されている。

Pianoscapes, a style that expresses landscapes and emotions through piano melodies and harmonies. Melodies and harmonies are characterized by their simplicity yet emotional depth.
The warmth and transparency of the piano’s sound gives it a simple yet profound sound. The rich chords that extend behind it give it a unique colouring and a special charm.
I also value the ‘margins’ of sound, and find beauty in the silence and pauses in the resonance, and in the space created by the overlapping of chords, which is the source of my work. While flashy techniques and ornamentation are appealing, I seek depth in the ‘lingering’ sound created by simple melodies and chords, and aim to create music that slowly seeps into the listener’s heart.
Soundscapes create broad soundscapes that include a variety of sound sources, whereas pianoscapes focus specifically on the sound of the piano to express landscapes and emotions. Although they differ in their approaches to music and acoustics, both share the commonality of providing a sensory experience through sound.
